There is a commercial on either Discovery or Animal Planet with Austin Stevens holding a large snake, looks like a boa or python or some kind. It's mostly silver in color with bright green stripes/saddles (maybe yellow too.. can't remember now). It's a real beauty.
Anyone know what kind of snake this is?

It's probably a snake that you need permits or a license for. I would suggest yo go to the channels web site and describe the snake in the search box. something probably will come up. Go to your local zoo and maybe ask them, they will have a herpetologist waiting to answer your question. I'm sorry i don't have a straight up answer to give you but it sounds like a albino python of some kind. Hope this helps!
